Begin your journey at the breathtaking Göreme Panorama viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy one of the most spectacular views in Cappadocia. Your guide will explain the fascinating geological history behind the region’s otherworldly landscape.
Explore an Ancient Underground City
Next, visit either Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı Underground City, both remarkable subterranean settlements dating back to the 7th–8th centuries. As you descend through a network of interconnected tunnels and stairways, discover ancient living spaces, including a church, winery, kitchens, food storage areas, and animal shelters. Your guide will provide insight into how communities once thrived underground.
Pigeon Valley Viewpoint – A Unique Perspective

Avanos Pottery Workshop – A Living Tradition
While in Avanos, visit an authentic family-run pottery workshop set in an underground cave. Learn how the Hittites first began using clay from the Kızılırmak (Red) River for pottery before 1700 BC, a tradition that continues today. - Cancellations made more than 48 hours from the start of the tour will not be charged.
- Cancellations made between 24-48 hours from the start of the tour will be charged 50% of the amount due.
- No shows, and cancellations made within 24 hours of the start of the start time will be charged 100% of the amount due.
